Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking a proactive QA Automation Engineer to advance the ICE Digital Trade Platform (IDT). You will develop automated tests for APIs and front-end components, integrate AI-driven QA approaches, and collaborate with project teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

The role requires strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Cypress, REST APIs, and CI/CD tooling. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, contributing to test strategies and production

Qualifications

• Experience in test planning and automation across SDLC
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and data formats JSON/XML
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and Cypress for front-end testing
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, ALM and test automation frameworks
• Hands-on with AI coding assistants (Claude, Copilot) for test authoring
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and data schemas to design automated test cases
• Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs and UI
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing including API testing
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation
• Utilise CI/CD tools and version control for releases
• Assist onboarding, production support, and defect tracking
• Collaborate with QA leads on advanced testing strategies
• Create comprehensive test plans and summaries
