The Role

Following the hiring of a very impressive CTO, this business is hiring a senior engineer to join the team and play a key hands-on role building a brand new platform in Python to process high amounts of data!

Reporting to the CTO, you will play a key role in the evolution of this business's product to deliver a product that continues to make massive progress in the market. You will be responsible for writing code, influencing the product roadmap and evolution, and helping to establish a strong engineering culture by ensuring best practices are followed.

In time, you will have the opportunity to lead a small team of engineers, mentoring them and supporting their career development.

About You

As a Senior Python Engineer for this high-growth scale-up, you should have:

• Deep experience with Python, particularly in building systems that handle large amounts of data
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Experience with microservices architecture
• A willingness to lead a small team

This role offers a salary in the region of £90k - £110k plus a range of impressive benefits. The position is fully remote.
