Job summary

J.P. Morgan seeks a Software Engineer III with AWS, Python, and ML expertise to engineer and deploy innovative ML solutions into production.

You will join the Applied AIML Software Engineering team and collaborate with technology teams to deliver secure, scalable products. In this role, you will work with Data Scientists to build cloud-based frameworks for hosting ML models, ensure SDLC compliance, and deploy in production with internal/external cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent formal training/certification
• Proven hands-on experience in Python application development and production deployments
• Solid understanding of software development practices, version control, testing, and CI/CD
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills with stakeholders
• Familiarity withMachine Learning Operations (MLOps) and secure engineering practices
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and evaluating AI outputs for correctness and security

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, secure applications using Python and AWS
• Create architecture and design deliverables
• Integrate AIML solutions into complex operations processing systems
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile planning sessions
• Collaborate with SRE and production monitoring teams to ensure system reliability
