Jobs247 is seeking a senior Python developer to help lead the design and implementation of Python packages built on the Home Energy Model. This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in the UK, with optional access to offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Exeter and London.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, write clean, maintainable, well-tested code, and contribute to production-grade applications in a data-rich domain.

Qualifications

• The ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• A track record of building production-grade applications, ideally in data-rich or scientific domains.
• Strong professional experience as a Python developer, at or near senior level.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and implementation of Python packages building on the Home Energy Model.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver robust software.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers when needed.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews.
