Job summary

Recenso Services is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to design, build, and maintain back-end services and APIs for CSPs and enterprise clients. This permanent, hybrid role is based in North London/Hertfordshire with on-site collaboration and flexible work-from-home days.

You will implement robust server-side logic, integrate with external systems, optimize performance, and ensure code quality through reviews and testing. Mentoring teammates on Python best practices is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in Python back-end frameworks (Django/Flask/FastAPI) and REST APIs.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, software design.
• Git version control, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Advanced Python programming and familiarity with other languages.
• OOP in large modular codebases; databases (SQL/NoSQL) and secure coding.
