Client Server is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Developer (Python) in Cambridge to join its R&D team. You’ll lead backend development on a Greenfield product, using Python primarily with Rust, TypeScript and/or C++ as needed, in a rapid, problem‑solving environment.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup at the Cambridge office, with the team delivering secure AI‑driven cybersecurity solutions and benefiting from a broad benefits package including pension, private medical insurance, life assurance,

Qualifications

• Advanced Python backend experience.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with Rust, TypeScript and/or C++.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Degree in a STEM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Work on a Greenfield product to combat AI-based security threats.
• Prototype new ideas rapidly and develop existing platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the R&D team.
