Client Server in Cambridge is seeking a Python Developer / Backend Software Engineer to design and implement backend systems for a cutting-edge cybersecurity product. You will contribute to a Greenfield project, prototyping ideas quickly and delivering robust software with best practices.

The role focuses on Python for backend work, with exposure to Rust, Typescript, and C++ in a rapid development environment. Expect a collaborative team in a Cambridge office with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Strong Python backend software engineering experience.
• Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Enjoy learning and picking up new technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Some experience with Rust, Typescript and/or C++.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Degree educated in a STEM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Work on a Greenfield product to combat AI-based security threats.
• Prototyping ideas rapidly and then developing structured platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the tech stack.
• Mainly backend Python with exposure to Rust, Typescript or C++ and other emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with a highly skilled R&D team in a Cambridge office environment.
