Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join an agile team delivering secure, scalable software components within the IP division. You will design, develop, test, and troubleshoot, using Python, Java, or Django, and apply AI-assisted coding tools with strong emphasis on security and performance.

You'll contribute across the SDLC, participate in CI/CD practices, and help maintain data-driven, reliable services for enterprise users in a corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience coding in Python and with database querying in a large corporate environment.
• Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, security, and resiliency practices.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance.
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and value realization.
• Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve basic problems.
• Gathers and analyzes data to inform decisions for secure, stable app development.
• Learns and applies system processes and skills for secure code development.

• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity with peer review.
