Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Developer with strong Python backend and AWS experience to build high-performance trading systems and scalable cloud infrastructure in a London-based hybrid role.

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end delivery across front, middle and back offices, champion DevOps practices, and contribute to securing and optimizing large-scale trading workflows. Occasional frontend work is involved, and a competitive package is offered.

Qualifications

• Advanced backend Python development skills.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, DevOps practices, CI/CD, Containerisation.
• Comfortable with occasional front end work.
• Experience owning the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle.
• Experience working in Front Office trading environments.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance high-performance trading systems and cloud infrastructure for front, middle and back office operations.
• Lead projects from design through to deployment, building secure, highly available systems handling large volumes of market data.
• Champion engineering best practices, automation, DevOps and cloud architecture to improve the team’s capabilities.
