Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (Band 6) on a part-time fixed-term basis (22.5 hours per week). The role is based in Blackburn as part of the Trailblazer Programme aimed at transforming Talking Therapies delivery in the community.

The post is funded from 2026 to 31 March 2028 with potential for extension. The successful candidate will provide high-quality supervision, deliver NICE-adherent interventions, and

Qualifications

• Registration as PWP with BABCP or BPS required.
• Post-qualification experience in Talking Therapies preferred.
• Clinical supervision skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality Talking Therapies to adults 16+ with common mental health problems.
• Provide autonomous practice within Trust policies.
• Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to PWPs and trainees.
