Role Objectives:

The Senior Purchasing Specialist is responsible for sourcing and procuring medicine worldwide to meet customer demand.

What You'll Do:

• Receive RFQs/RFPs from Business Development and Account Specialists, sourcing the required products
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing for products
• Research and engage with new suppliers to expand WEP’s sourcing network
• Generate purchase orders (POs) and coordinate shipments for clinical trial supplies and R&D
• Source and purchase products for local and international hospitals, Advocacy Requests, and Clinical Trial Supply
• Collaborate with R&D/Clinical Trial Supply group to support Wren Healthcare services
• Work with MHRA, HPRA, and Home Office for product approvals and import/export licenses
• Support the Project Management team in setting up new projects, suppliers, and products
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GDP guidelines and update SOPs as necessary, including supplier onboarding
• Manage logistics, supplier invoices, warehouse activities, and resolve queries in daily operations

What You'll Need:

• Experience in purchasing within the Pharmaceuticals and/or Medical fields
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Pharmaceutical, Finance, or equivalent work experience
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data management
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Minimum of 5 years of sourcing and procurement experience
• Fluency in additional languages is preferred
