Job summary

Shire Healthcare is recruiting a Senior Psychotherapist to work within a residential childcare service in Penrith, Cumbria. You will provide clinical leadership and supervision within a growing Clinical Team, delivering trauma-informed therapy to children and young people in residential settings.

You will manage a small caseload, contribute to safeguarding and service improvement, and engage in training and reflective practice. The position is permanent with salary up to £54,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience working therapeutically with children and young people, ideally looked-after children.
• Masters-level therapy qualification and registration with BACP, UKCP or HCPC.
• Strong trauma-informed therapy experience.
• Experience providing clinical supervision.
• Strong safeguarding and risk assessment knowledge.
