We are looking for an experienced Senior Psychologist specialising in Educational, Clinical, or Forensic psychology to join our team in Preston, UK. The role offers a competitive annual salary of £62,192 to £65,790. Our organisation is committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and young people, and we work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Creative/Talking Therapists. You will provide high‑quality assessments and interventions and help shape our therapeutic approaches in educational and residential settings.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs of children and young people.
  • Develop and implement effective intervention strategies addressing social, emotional, mental health, and cognitive needs.
  • Collaborate with educational and residential teams to enhance our therapeutic practice model focused on complex trauma, neurodiversity, and Special Educational Needs.
  • Mentor and supervise junior psychologists, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
  • Engage with external agencies, parents, and carers to maximise support for the young people in our care.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff to enhance their ability to support children and young people effectively.
