We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP), Band 6, to join the integrated Mental Health Team at HMP Forest Bank. This is an exciting opportunity to provide evidence-based low-intensity interventions and psycho-educational groups to adult males who are currently involved with the criminal justice system. To work within a multidisciplinary team who deliver high-quality care.
The post holder will play a key role in overseeing our Step 2 provision, offering both clinical and managerial supervision to qualified and trainee PWPs, whilst contributing to service development, audit and innovative practice. This role requires a practitioner who can work both autonomously and collaboratively, demonstrating resilience, compassion and a commitment to the Trust's values. With strong support from senior colleagues, the successful candidate will help ensure accessible, effective and recovery-focused mental health services for people with common mental health difficulties in a challenging but rewarding setting.
