Please note that this post involves being able to work at least one evening session per week (12pm - 8pm) and you will have to have a minimum of 1-year post qualification experience in a Talking Therapies service as well as supervisory experience.
Main duties of the jobYou will have the opportunity to:
Lead on specialist interests & service development within the Step 2 Team.
Line manage staff.
Provide supervision of staff.

You will help us provide an even better service in the future by delivering mental health screening assessments and psychological interventions (including more complex cases appropriate to Step 2 work) with the support of a qualified member of the team, and working independently according to a plan agreed with line manager within the framework of our policies and procedures.
You will take pride in:
Supporting the PWP Professional Lead/Senior Management Team to ensure the smooth operation of the Step 2 team.
Assisting in clinically related admin, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.
Supporting the step 2 team via the provision of supervision and line management.
Supporting and inducting new staff to the Step 2 Team.
Working with people from different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary. You should be committed to equal opportunities.
Screening new referrals and making decisions about the suitability of referrals. Offering a range of treatment options including GSH and groups.
