Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a 0.2 WTE Band 8b Diversity and Inclusion Lead to work across London Community Pathways. The post chairs the monthly diversity meeting, oversees the diversity plan, and coordinates data on ethnicity and access to services.

The role aims to improve staff and service participant inclusion and cultural awareness across pathways. The post holder will ensure lived experience is embedded in all workstreams and will liaise with key partners to advance

Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in clinical/forensic psychology and HCPC registration required.
• Experience with inter-agency collaboration across forensic mental health, probation and prison services.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methods and two or more specialised therapies.

Responsibilities

• Chair the monthly London Community Pathways diversity meeting.
• Oversee the diversity group terms of reference and delivery of the diversity plan.
• Coordinate data and research on ethnicity trends related to access and retention.
• Monitor and report on progression of staff and service users from protected groups.
• Promote equal treatment and proportional representation across services.
• Set up monitoring systems for diversity outcomes and progression.
• Engage stakeholders including Probation Service London, Commissioners and OPD partners.
