Job summary

Legal & General is seeking a Transitions Director for its Award-Winning Pension Risk Transfer division. The role is senior and client-facing, involving collaboration with Trustees, Sponsors, Advisers and internal stakeholders.

You will shape client servicing propositions and lead complex implementations in a hybrid working setup. The position requires strong DB pension expertise, a track record in de-risking transactions, and ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Pensions qualification (e.g., PMI) or equivalent practical experience is essential.
• PRINCE2 or similar project management qualification is desirable.
• Strong experience administering, transitioning or onboarding Defined Benefit pension schemes.
• Deep knowledge of Pension Risk Transfer including buy-ins and buy-outs.
• Good understanding of DB pension regulations and wind-up requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across legal, regulatory, reinsurance, product development and operational matters.
• Own tailored servicing responses for RFQs and support new business opportunities.
• Lead client and customer servicing content in pitches and finals presentations.
• Understand prospective clients, their de-risking plans and scheme onboarding needs.
• Manage end-to-end implementation activity for large and complex PRT transactions.
• Produce clear documentation and MI to support governance and decision making.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews with Trustees and Advisers.
