Senior Propositions Manager

Salary – National Circa £55,000 / London Circa £65,000

18-month FTC

Are you an experienced people leader with a passion for developing customer-centric propositions and delivering meaningful outcomes? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can support a high-performing team and ensure excellent product delivery?

We’re looking for a Senior Propositions Manager to join our Individual Annuities team on an 18-month fixed term contract, covering business-as-usual activity while a colleague supports a project.

A bit about the job:

This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a skilled and collaborative team responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of product plans and roadmaps across our Individual Annuities portfolio.

You’ll be accountable for managing day-to-day proposition delivery, including product governance and ensuring adherence to internal processes and regulatory standards. You'll also play a vital role in coaching, supporting, and developing your team—ensuring they are empowered to thrive and grow.

This is a hands-on delivery role that will suit someone who enjoys managing detail, solving problems, and working collaboratively across teams to achieve results.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • A strong background in proposition development and product governance, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
  • A customer-first mindset and practical understanding of Consumer Duty—with the ability to balance good customer outcomes with commercial and risk considerations.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business areas.
  • Confidence working under pressure and delivering to tight deadlines with accountability for key outputs.

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Salary – National Circa £55,000 / London Circa £65,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary, actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s
  • Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in
