Senior Property Manager - Near Eelephant and Castle

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + discretionary bonus

Mondy-Friday - 09:00 - 17:30

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Property Manager to join a well-regarded property management team, taking the lead on a diverse and high-profile London estate.

Based in a modern office in SE17, this individual will have full responsibility for overseeing a substantial residential portfolio comprising 600 homes across multiple blocks, with additional amenity space. The position requires a confident, client-focused professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service to residents and stakeholders.

The Opportunity

This is not your average property management role. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping the future of the estate, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while driving service improvements, financial performance, and client satisfaction. They will also oversee and mentor an on-site team including property managers, a maintenance operative, and a lettings/renewals coordinator, ensuring standards remain consistently high across the board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building strong, positive relationships with residents, ensuring a professional and friendly service at all times.

  • Leading on inspections, compliance, maintenance, refurbishments, and service charge budgets.

  • Ensuring financial accuracy, managing arrears, and supporting client reporting.

  • Driving service improvements and seeking opportunities for efficiency and innovation.

  • Acting as the main point of contact for the client, providing regular updates and attending weekly on-site meetings.

  • Managing Section 20 processes, insurance renewals, rent reviews, and legal notices where required.

  • Leading, supporting, and developing the on-site team, ensuring training, appraisals, and professional development are in place.

  • Overseeing health and safety, ensuring compliance and safe working practices at all times.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a client-facing property management role.

  • Previous experience managing and developing a team.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Professional qualifications (MARLA, MIRPM or AssocRICS) are highly desirable.

  • Confident, organised, and proactive with the ability to balance multiple priorities.

  • A natural leader who can influence, motivate, and maintain strong working relationships.
