Job summary

BCL Legal is recruiting a Property Litigation Senior Associate in Birmingham. You will handle contentious property matters, manage your own caseload, and work on matters before First-tier and Upper Tribunals and courts, including Court of Appeal level.

The role also involves providing wider contentious property advice, collaborating with lawyers across the firm on multidisciplinary client matters. Building Safety Act work and residential leasehold management are growth areas where experience

Qualifications

• 7+ years' PQE with strong property litigation experience.
• Experience handling property disputes through the courts and tribunals.
• Excellent drafting, legal analysis and technical skills.
• Commercial and pragmatic approach to client advice.
• Confident managing your own caseload and working directly with clients.
• Experience or an interest in supervising and delegating to junior colleagues.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Collaborative approach and ability to build strong client and intermediary relationships.
• Genuine interest in business development and growing a practice.
