Senior Property Lawyer - Conveyancing | Office-Based | Bristol | £46,000-£54,000 + Bonus + Benefits

TSR Legal are pleased to be inpartnership with a highly respected and rapidly growing legal services provider that is transforming the conveyancing landscape. This firm is renowned for its innovation, supportive culture, and commitment to staff wellbeing. They are now seeking a Senior Property Lawyer to join their conveyancing team at their modern Head Office in Bristol.

In this office-based role, you'll not only bring your technical expertise in residential conveyancing, but also play a crucial leadership role-supporting and supervising a talented team of trainee and non-qualified lawyers. This is a unique opportunity to influence the next generation of conveyancers in a firm that truly values development, technology, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor trainee and non-qualified property lawyers on all aspects of residential property transactions.
  • Provide daily technical guidance and development support to the team.
  • Conduct regular file reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal policies.
  • Step in to support caseloads during periods of absence or conflict.
  • Oversee complex residential transactions including freehold, leasehold, new builds, shared ownership, and unregistered land.
  • Use a modern case management system to track and improve workflow processes.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, partners, and other legal professionals.
  • Contribute to the delivery of key performance indicators that focus on client service and legal excellence.

Candidate Profile:

We're keen to hear from qualified property lawyers who can demonstrate a strong mix of technical knowledge and people leadership.

You'll have:

  • 4+ years PQE in residential conveyancing as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive
  • A track record of mentoring and supervising junior legal staff
  • A strong grasp of AML compliance and current CPD
  • A confident and clear communication style
  • Comfort with digital tools and modern legal technology
  • Comprehensive experience across a broad range of transaction types

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: £46,000 - £54,000 (depending on experience)
