This is an exciting opportunity for you to be responsible for the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent, involving the full asset lifecycle from initial site identification, negotiation, and land/site acquisition. You will lead a professional team through planning, securing consent, supporting construction, and ongoing asset management. Developing relationships with landlords, tenants, local authorities, agents, and developers is key.
This role offers ownership of development and planning from concept to completion, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills, multitasking, and meeting tight deadlines.

Note: You will be expected to work at our Gravesend (Northfleet) Property Office or in your designated area at least 3 days per week.
Internally, this role is called Senior Acquisitions Consultant.
What you'll do
Identify, negotiate, and acquire freehold and leasehold deals for new stores. Manage site inspections, development appraisals, legal and planning due diligence. Oversee planning application processes from submission to approval. Lead expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects. Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, agents, landlords, tenants, and developers. Drive full development and planning from concept to completion. Manage real estate assets.
What you'll need
A proactive attitude and drive to succeed. Degree (2:2 minimum), preferably relevant to the role. Exposure to retail acquisitions, land buying, commercial property, or town planning is essential. MRICS qualification is preferred. Strong negotiation, communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
