Job Description:

This top-tier international law firm is seeking a Senior Projects Associate (5+ PQE) to join its award winning Construction and Projects team in London. With a market leading presence across infrastructure, energy and real estate, this is a high-profile opportunity for a senior lawyer to join one of the largest and most highly regarded specialist teams in the world.

The Team:

This firm has built a formidable reputation in the construction and infrastructure sector, advising a stellar client base that includes financial institutions, major developers, energy suppliers, government bodies, and nearly all of the UK’s top construction contractors.

Spanning a range of sectors from energy (including nuclear, renewables, and oil & gas) to transport, water, waste, and education, the team delivers legal support across the entire project lifecycle. Their lawyers act on flagship national and international developments, as well as essential local authority led infrastructure.

This team is not only known for its technical excellence and commercial insight but also for its collaborative, collegiate working environment, led by a respected and highly approachable partner group.

The Role:

You’ll play a key role in a high performing team, advising on complex, often multi jurisdictional construction and infrastructure matters. This is a broad position that includes:

  • The opportunity to be involved in work in the very best and high profile national and international projects and construction work, across a number of the firm's key sectors (infrastructure, energy, real estate and financial services).
  • Developing on-going relationships with an existing client base as well as pitching for new opportunities;
  • Developing close working relationships as part of an international team;
  • developing close working relationships with the Real Estate and Finance teams within the firm;

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy, forward thinking team with a genuine passion for infrastructure and the built environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ PQE in construction or projects law, ideally with experience across both domestic and cross border matters.
  • Strong background in real estate development, real estate finance, and related transactional work.
  • Comfortable advising on building safety and high developments.
  • Experienced in managing junior lawyers and contributing to internal team development.
  • Commercially astute, confident in client-facing settings and driven by quality of service and delivery.
  • Previous experience at a leading commercial practice or in-house legal team is strongly preferred.

What’s on Offer:

  • The opportunity to work alongside recognised industry leaders on some of the most significant construction and infrastructure projects in the UK and globally.
  • Clear route for career progression with early responsibility and exposure to high-profile clients.
  • An inclusive and supportive culture with flexible and agile working options.
  • Industry leading training and development programmes tailored to senior associates aiming for partnership.
  • A chance to be part of a firm widely recognised for innovation, technology and diversity, with numerous global awards and accolades.

If you’re a senior projects lawyer looking to join a high calibre international practice with a genuine commitment to professional growth, client service, and impactful work, this is an exceptional opportunity.
