Overview

Senior Projects Manager - High End Joinery & Fit Out - UK

Company: My company is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation and an international track record of achievement within a broad range of sectors including marine, luxury hotels, prime residential and commercial.

Role: My client are looking for an experienced project manager who would be based full time on London projects. With the initial project being based in the City of London on a £10m fit out of a mixed used commercial/leisure unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of projects.
• Undertake responsibility for all safety, health, environment and quality matters ensuring adherence to statutory and legal requirements and Company procedures.
• Develop the project plan and budget, monitor progress and ensure deliverables are achieved.
• Ensure that project resources i.e. staff, labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors are effectively managed.
• Manage client relationships.
• Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and the contractual position is not compromised.
• Proactively participate in value engineering to maximise project contribution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience leading project delivery within the interior fit-out industry.
• A third level construction related qualification.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills with strong contract knowledge and commercial acumen.
• Experience of delivering marine fit-out projects is desirable, but not essential.
