Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Reading is seeking a Projects Lead to drive strategic planning and delivery of Small Works and CFE across the store estate. You will ensure high-quality, commercially focused execution that enhances customer experience and store performance.

You’ll manage a high-volume, multi-site portfolio, optimise costs, and collaborate with Property, Construction, Retail, Design and Procurement to deliver projects on time with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• Proven construction delivery experience in a multi-site environment.
• Strategic and operational delivery capability.
• Contractor and supply chain management experience.
• Technical knowledge of construction practices and regulation.
• Experience building high-performing teams and clear objectives.
• Commercially minded with focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic direction for Small Works and CFE across the estate.
• Lead a multi-site portfolio ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with brand standards.
• Drive cost management, identify savings, and optimise delivery models.
• Partner with Property, Construction, Retail, Space Optimisation, Design and Procurement.
• Develop external supply base and manage supplier performance.
• Embed governance, health & safety, risk management and compliance.
