Job summary

Skilled Careers is recruiting for a Project Surveyor to join a growing social housing–focused property services contractor in Birmingham. You will support the delivery of a major planned maintenance programme across the region, handling commercial delivery, cost reporting and client liaison.

You will work within an established commercial team, managing multiple workstreams, subcontractors and CVRs, with opportunities for progression as the operation expands and flexible working options available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Project Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within social housing or property services.
• Experience with planned maintenance and cost reporting.
• Strong cost control, valuations, variations, CVRs and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial delivery of multiple planned maintenance projects from procurement to final account.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and CVRs with accurate reporting.
• Procure and manage subcontractors, including valuations and variations.
• Build relationships with clients, operational teams and subcontractors to ensure delivery.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities while maintaining financial control across multiple workstreams.
