Qualifications

  • Experience on medium to large Build projects £30million+.
  • Running significant multiple subcontract packages £5-20m.
  • Qualified or working towards ICES or RICS accreditation preferred.

We are seeking a Senior Project Surveyor to join our Building team based on a high-profile commercial project in Central London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement and management of key packages, during a PCSA, followed by project delivery. This role will include verification of the contract sum for the applicable packages prior to contract execution and subsequent placing of subcontract packages.

What you'll do:

  • Control the cost management for project and provide financial reporting regularly .
  • Understand the contractual requirements of project documents including the roles and responsibilities of all involved and the notices required to record change etc. Ensure all required notices are issued in a timely manner.
  • Prepare subcontract documentation, issue enquiries, and negotiate agreements including interim and final accounts.
  • Participate in managing the Design Change Management philosophy in accordance with the Project Strategy.
  • Manage the monthly valuations and payments.
  • Input into the end life forecasting.
  • Where applicable, undertake line management responsibilities for direct report staff.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Experience of working on medium to large Build projects £30million+, and in have relevant experience of running significant multiple subcontract packages £5-20m .
  • Working knowledge of one or more forms of construction contracts i.e. JCT, NEC, Bespoke.
  • BSc, HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or relevant construction subject
  • Qualified or working towards ICES or RICS accreditation (preferred)
