Job description

An entrepreneurial and award-winning Cost Consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Project Surveyor to join their growing London office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Surveyor to step into a client-facing role with strong progression potential, within a consultancy that puts innovation, delivery, and people at the heart of its success.

Located just 10 minutes from Farringdon and 5 minutes from Barbican, the London office offers a collaborative working environment and hybrid flexibility across office, home, and site locations.

The Senior Project Surveyor Role

The successful Senior Project Surveyor will take ownership of a variety of high-quality projects, typically up to £20m in value, across key sectors including Commercial, Residential, Health & Life Sciences, Workplace, and Education.

You will also work alongside the Directors on more complex schemes, developing relationships with leading clients and gaining exposure to flagship developments.

As a Senior Project Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Full pre- and post-contract cost management
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • Leading client meetings and ensuring project objectives are met
  • Driving best practice, value engineering, and efficient project delivery

The Ideal Senior Project Surveyor

You will ideally bring:

  • MRICS qualification or be actively working towards achieving it.
  • A RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Strong Pre & Post Contract Experience
  • Background in health, commercial, or education sectors is advantageous.
  • Prior Quantity Surveying experience with a UK cost consultancy or PQS firm.
