BAM Construction is recruiting a Senior Project Surveyor to join our team based out of our offices in Stepps and covering projects across the central belt of Scotland.
You will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager / Managing Surveyor, with direct responsibility for the successful commercial management of the project, and working pro-actively and collaboratively as an integral member of both the site and wider Client team.
Duties will include, (but not be restricted to):
Preferably be qualified at degree level, or working towards MRICS or equivalent professional level.
Must be able to work across central belt of Scotland. Preferably experience with a Main Contractor background.
Have the depth of experience and competencies required of the role.
Be a positive and proactive individual that works collaboratively with colleagues, our supply chain partners and the wider client team.
Share the same general values and ethos as the Business, and promote these, at all times, both internally and externally.
Be a confident and astute negotiator.
Have a clear and proven understanding of the importance of positive working relationships with all parties.
Have the confidence and ability to work within a team environment, and to have a positive influence on outcomes.
Have good communication skills and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
Be confident and experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and computer aided measurement tools.
