Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor for a long-term contract based in Oxford with a leading main contractor. The role focuses on commercial management, subcontract documentation and cost control across multiple packages within a Defence/Healthcare framework.

You will work closely with the project team to manage budgets, cadence of monthly valuations and changes, liaising with clients and subcontractors to deliver on programme and value.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creating a safe working environment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Produce subcontract documentation including enquiries, negotiation of scope, terms and conditions, prices and programme.
• Commercial management of subcontract works packages including interim assessments and change management.
• Produce monthly valuations, CVRs and cash flow forecasts.
• Support project teams in budgets, risk identification and final account preparation.
