Job summary

RG Setsquare in Oxford invites an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join on a permanent basis, working on a 10-year framework covering health, residential, government refurbishments and new builds. You will manage tender analysis, subcontracts, cash flows, CVRs and valuations, coordinating with site and commercial teams. This role suits a proactive professional who can travel to site, liaise with clients, and drive cost efficiency within a blue-chip contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience on build and refurbishment projects.
• Strong cost control and commercial awareness.
• Ability to produce and review CVRs and payment notices.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Analyse tender returns and collate information for discussion.
• Support the team to improve supply chain.
• Prepare sub contract orders and ensure sign-off.
• Review sub contract applications and payment notices.
• Undertake internal and external cash flow forecasts.
• Produce monthly AFA's for clients.
• Prepare monthly valuations and agree with clients.
• Collaborate with site team to record costs.
• Issue variation orders with supporting documentation.
• Attend site visits to assist commercial and operations.
• Prepare CVR's for directors.
