Senior Project Quantity Surveyor – Clean Energy Generation

Leading project developer in renewable energy assets across the UK seeks a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor. The role involves supporting project delivery, managing contracts through construction and handover, and overseeing projects such as Energy Storage Assets (+100MW), H2 Ready Thermal Power Plants, and Green Hydrogen Electrolysis Assets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in risk and value management, overseeing subcontractors, and managing quality. A background in M&E, Renewables, O&G, Thermal power, or large-scale infrastructure is preferred.

Key Requirements

• Experience with various contract forms, especially NEC contracts (ECC qualification preferred);
• Experience with heavy Civils/M&E/Energy works in a main/principal contractor setting (preferred);
• Experience on contracts over £10m (desirable).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead change management processes, maintain change control procedures, and manage risks;
• Prepare procurement documents, review work scopes, and negotiate contracts;
• Manage contractor accounts and payments;
• Monitor costs, manage disallowed costs, and report to senior management;
• Provide commercial support to site management and foster professional relationships.
