Senior Project Quantity Surveyor – Clean Energy Generation

We are seeking a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor for a leading project developer pioneering Renewable Energy assets across the UK. The successful candidate will support project delivery, manage contracts through construction and handover, and oversee project risk, value, and quality management.

Projects include the UK’s largest Energy Storage Assets (+100MW), H2 Ready Thermal Power Plants, and Green Hydrogen Electrolysis Assets, involving high-value equipment, M&E, and civils activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in risk and value management, driving subcontractor performance, and managing quality. Backgrounds in M&E, Renewables, O&G, Thermal power, or large-scale infrastructure are desirable.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with various contract forms, especially NEC contracts (ECC accreditation preferred).
• Experience in heavy Civils/M&E/Energy works in a main/principal contractor setting (preferred).
• Experience managing contracts over £10m (desirable).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead change management, maintain effective change control procedures, and manage risks.
• Prepare procurement documents, review work scopes, and negotiate contracts.
• Manage contractor accounts and payments, assess costs, and control disallowed costs.
• Maintain cost reports and internal cost plans, and provide commercial support onsite.
• Foster professional relationships within the team and with stakeholders.
