Senior Project Quantity Surveyor – Clean Energy Generation

We are seeking a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor for a leading project developer specializing in Renewable Energy assets across the UK. The role involves supporting project delivery, managing contracts from development through construction to operations, and overseeing high-value projects including Energy Storage, Thermal Power Plants, and Green Hydrogen Electrolysis Assets.

The ideal candidate will oversee risk and value management, drive subcontractor performance, and ensure quality. Experience in M&E, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Thermal Power, or large-scale infrastructure is preferred.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience with various contract forms, especially NEC contracts (ECC accreditation preferred);
• Experience with heavy Civils, M&E, or Energy works in a main contractor setting (preferred);
• Experience managing contracts over £10m (desirable).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead change management processes, maintain effective control procedures, and manage risks and variations;
• Prepare procurement documents, review work scopes, and negotiate contracts;
• Manage contractor accounts and payments;
• Control costs and challenge disallowed costs;
• Maintain internal cost plans and reporting, including earned value management;
• Provide commercial support to site management;
• Foster professional relationships.
