Job summary

Mint Selection | B Corp, a client delivering Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK, seeks a Senior Project Planner to drive successful project delivery from inception to closeout.

You will coordinate schedules, costs, and resources, validate contractor plans, and manage risks to meet deadlines and budgets. The role requires 10+ years in M&E planning, strong communication, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and PowerBI. Hybrid work with UK-based projects offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven project planning experience in M&E environments.
• Strong expertise in schedule coordination, cost forecasting, and earned value management.
• Solid understanding of SIMOPS, contractor schedule validation, and risk analysis.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and PowerBI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on delivering high-impact renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor full project lifecycles and report progress to leadership and project managers.
• Coordinate schedules, costs, and resource models; develop what-if scenarios to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align timelines and validate contractor schedules.
• Analyse schedule and cost variances; ensure SIMOPS compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Support progress reporting, baseline schedule development, and risk management processes.
• Contribute to lessons learned and project closeout activities.

Our client, a renowned Independent Power Producer (IPP), is seeking a Senior Project Planner to support the successful delivery of cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK. This role is instrumental in ensuring seamless project execution from inception through to completion, contributing directly to the clean energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:
