Mint Selection | B Corp is partnering with an Independent Power Producer to recruit a Senior Project Planner for UK Battery Energy Storage System projects. The role focuses on steering full project lifecycles from inception to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery within a fast-paced energy transition.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in M&E project planning, expertise in Primavera P6 and PowerBI, and strong stakeholder management. Hybrid work and a competitive package are offered.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor full project lifecycles, reporting progress to senior leadership and project managers.
• Coordinate schedules, costs, and resource models, including developing “what-if” scenarios to mitigate project risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align timelines and validate contractor schedules.
• Analyse schedule and cost variances, ensure SIMOPS compliance, and recommend corrective actions to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Support progress reporting, baseline schedule development, and risk management processes.
• Contribute to lessons learned documentation and project closeout activities.

Our client, a renowned Independent Power Producer (IPP), is seeking a Senior Project Planner to support the successful delivery of cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK. This role is instrumental in ensuring seamless project execution from inception through to completion, contributing directly to the clean energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor full project lifecycles, reporting progress to senior leadership and project managers.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
