Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Planner for its Energy & Natural Resources team. The role focuses on leading planning and scheduling across complex projects, ensuring data-driven decisions, and delivering on time and cost targets.

The incumbent will coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, manage IMS, and maintain robust schedules while adhering to client requirements and contract standards. Nuclear project exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning & scheduling across the whole project lifecycle.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Able to obtain BPSS level security clearance.
• Member of a relevant professional body (APM/PMI).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make risk-based decisions where parameters are unclear.

Responsibilities

• Take lead on planning for multiple projects or programmes.
• Create, develop and maintain robust project schedules.
• Adhere to NEC or FIDIC contract processes for schedule data.
• Develop status reports to inform management on progress.
• Monitor and consolidate project schedules into IMS.
• Track KPIs and report on project progress and variances.
