Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Ayr is recruiting a Senior Project Planner to join the Energy & Natural Resources team. You will manage project schedules, coordinate multiple work packages, and ensure delivery on time and within cost targets for a major client in the nuclear sector.

The role requires strong Primavera P6 skills, leadership to mentor junior planners, and the ability to report progress and KPI data. You will be based in the client office three days per week and must be eligible for BPSS

Qualifications

Professional Project Controls experience specialising in Planning & Scheduling across the project lifecycle.
Nuclear sector experience is desirable but not essential.
Ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance.
Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., APM, PMI).
Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead planning for multiple projects or programmes with complex schedules.
Create, develop and maintain detailed project schedules in line with requirements.
Adhere to NEC or FIDIC processes for schedule data and submissions.
Provide status reports and support management decisions with data.
Mentor and coach planning staff and coordinate with teams.
Analyse float, critical path and changes to recover slippage.
Monitor IMS schedules and project KPI reporting.
