Job summary

Mint Selection | B Corp is seeking a Senior Project Planner to support the delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK.

Plan and monitor full lifecycles, coordinate schedules, costs and resources, analyse variances, manage SIMOPS, and align timelines with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in M&E project planning, proficiency in Primavera P6 and PowerBI, and strong communication; hybrid working and pension are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience in project planning for M&E projects.
• Expert in schedule coordination, cost forecasting and earned value management.
• Strong SIMOPS understanding and risk analysis.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and PowerBI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive with a focus on delivering high-impact renewables projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor full project lifecycles, reporting progress to senior leadership and project managers.
• Coordinate schedules, costs, and resource models, including developing “what-if” scenarios to mitigate project risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align timelines and validate contractor schedules.
• Analyse schedule and cost variances, ensure SIMOPS compliance, and recommend corrective actions to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Support progress reporting, baseline schedule development, and risk management processes.
• Contribute to lessons learned documentation and project closeout activities.
