Job summary

H&MV Engineering in Manchester is seeking an Experienced Project Planner to join our operations team. You’ll work with stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly and on schedule.

Responsibilities include developing project programmes from first principles, maintaining live programmes with periodic progress updates, and preparing reports. You’ll apply delay analysis, risk management, and support junior team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering).
  • 5+ years’ experience in project planning or similar role.
  • Strong experience with Primavera P6.
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies, project scope, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of critical path analysis and programme logic development.
  • Experience in delay analysis and forensic planning techniques.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.

  • Attending and scheduling meetings as required.
  • Effective Communication of project risks and opportunities to the project team
  • Aide in the development of junior team members as and when required.

About the Role:
