M Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Planner to join their Electricity Transmission team, working on National Grid projects across the UK. This hybrid role requires managing construction schedules and collaborating with teams to ensure the smooth delivery of infrastructure projects. Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Electricity Transmission team. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.

Where will you be working?
Are you ready to join a growing team of 5 Planners, working on National Grid substation projects across the UK?
This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home, with at least two days a week in our Solihull or Nottingham offices, allowing you to collaborate and spend valuable time with your team! You’ll need to travel to site also so a driving licence is needed for this role.
What will you be doing?
Are you a skilled planner with a passion for creating and improving construction schedules?
Your expertise will be vital to our success! We’re looking for someone who excels at managing resources and subcontractors and who enjoys being involved in every stage of the project, working closely with the site delivery team and attending client meetings, from initial planning to final handover.
In this role, you will also collaborate with our bid team, offering your planning expertise to make our bids competitive and accurate.
Your ability to collect benchmarking data for value assessments and manage risk, issue, and opportunity registers will be highly valued.
