A leading community-focused charity based in Cumbernauld is seeking a Project Manager to oversee initiatives that enhance community health and wellbeing through nature engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 NVQ and experience in volunteer management and project planning. The role involves recruiting volunteers and collaborating with community groups to implement health initiatives, addressing challenges faced by local flora and fauna due to climate change. This position is full-time, requiring a driving license and offers a salary of £25,015 annually.

About the role:
This role supports TCV in enabling people and communities to improve their health, prospects, and outdoor places. The role manages TCV projects, delivering one or more services which contribute to local operational plans and towards the achievement of TCV’s strategic plan. The key to achieving this will be the successful recruitment and management of Volunteers, the management of resources and the management of budgets, external relationships and/or the local site.
The purpose of this role is to support TCV and the Nurturing Natural Connections Project Manager in the delivery of a five-year engagement programme to enable people and communities to improve their health, prospects, and outdoor places in Cumbernauld.
The candidate must have experience at a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification and have experience of recruiting, managing, leading and managing groups volunteer groups. Can plan and implement practical projects and events. You will work in partnership with other organisations, and community groups and have knowledge of implementing health initiatives to improve wellbeing in volunteers. Extensive knowledge of Scottish flora and fauna species and the challenges they face against climate change and biodiversity loss.
