Working Pattern: Monday- Friday, 5 days a week (minimum 2 days in the office)

Main Purpose of Job

The Senior Project Manager SMA role is within the O&M department of the Offshore Renewables business. The role involves working on the O&M package of the Windanker project, reporting to the Lead Project Manager. The O&M package covers the post-FID and readiness phases to ensure the project is operationally ready.

This includes managing the Service and Maintenance Agreement (SMA), monitoring the OPEX model, ensuring all O&M contracts are in place before handover, recruiting the site team, and developing operational processes, procedures, and tools. The Senior Project Manager will provide technical support during SMA negotiations, focusing on technical schedules.

Key Tasks
  • Develop project requirements emphasizing health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance
  • Assist in negotiating the WTG SMA, focusing on technical requirements
  • Organize negotiation meetings with WTG suppliers, follow up on actions, and meet milestones
  • Update and re-draft SMA technical schedules, identifying risks and issues
  • Obtain RFIs to develop OPEX estimates for FID
  • Develop BoP contracting strategy in collaboration with Purchasing
  • Support the development of the overall O&M strategy
  • Gather lessons learned from other projects to improve offshore operations
  • Perform project management activities such as reporting, planning, risk, and resource management
Key Criteria
  • Organize workload and set objectives with the Lead Project Manager
  • Deliver updates on technical schedules and propose strategies
  • Contribute to final SMA contract and logistics strategy
Requisite Knowledge and Experience
  • Sound knowledge of Offshore Wind Operations and Maintenance
  • Experience in negotiating multimillion-pound contracts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in multicultural settings
  • Understanding of H&S legislation applicable offshore
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams across locations
  • Adaptability to changing environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Organizational skills, including meetings and follow-ups
  • Basic understanding of organizational setup in projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum five years offshore wind experience or relevant discipline
  • NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent HSE qualification
