Job summary

Ganymede is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of major water and environmental infrastructure projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors and QS teams to ensure safe, commercial and effective delivery.

The role requires hands-on delivery, strong knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts and the ability to manage risk, change and contractual communications. Based in the Midlands with 3–4 days per week in the client’s office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant numeric/engineering discipline.
• Experience working with NEC3/4 contracts – Options A, C & E are essential.
• Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver major water and environmental infrastructure projects.
• Support project budgets, forecasting and Defined Cost planning.
• Collaborate with QS teams on monthly valuations and payment certificates.
• Prepare and manage contractual communications, including Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events.
• Support project scope planning and feasibility activities.
• Assist with tender documentation and evaluation of contractor submissions.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress, expenditure and cash flow.
• Manage project change, variations and contractual issues.
• Support dispute resolution and final accounts.
• Maintain strong project records and ensure contractual compliance.
• Contribute to governance, reporting and continuous improvement.
