Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Project Manager to lead the day‑to‑day delivery of multidisciplinary buildings projects across sectors, including regulated environments. You will plan, coordinate and control projects under a Project Principal, managing design & build interfaces, contracts and stakeholders to deliver on time, cost and quality.

This role offers a clear development pathway towards Project Principal and supports flexible, hybrid working with a strong focus on governance and safety,

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering medium to large buildings projects in consultancy, contractor or professional services.
• Experience with Design & Build and contractor-led delivery models.
• Working knowledge of NEC or similar contract forms.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of buildings projects ensuring scope, programme, cost, quality and safety.
• Develop and maintain project plans, programmes, schedules, and resource profiles.
• Coordinate design coordination and Construction/Design & Build interfaces.
• Administer contracts and support change control, variations and early warnings.
• Identify, track and manage project risks and issues with risk registers.
• Coordinate stakeholders including clients, contractors, designers and suppliers.
• Prepare reports, governance reviews, and performance updates.
• Support health, safety, and wellbeing processes on projects.
• Manage project information, quality assurance, and document control.
