Job description

About the Company - We are partnered with a Retail Banking client in recruiting for an experienced Project Manager who has extensive experience in delivering critical business change projects on a permanent basis for a growing team. This role is a hybrid position based in London and offers an excellent benefits package.

About the Role - Must have the following experience:

  1. Experience of delivering projects and programmes in a challenging, fast-paced banking environment across various product areas.
  2. Savings and Loans experience would be highly desirable.
  3. Extensive experience managing difficult vendors.
  4. Demonstrable commercial acumen and broad business awareness to understand how the project integrates with the rest of the business to enable delivery.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and adapt style to achieve the right outcomes.
  6. Strong planning and change management experience within a financial services organization.
  7. Must have managed budgets, with strong risk and issue management skills.
  8. Experience developing business cases and mapping benefits realization strategies and plans.
  9. Ability to work confidently, think strategically, and drive execution at all levels through influential stakeholder management, including Directors and Board sponsors.
  10. Able to think both strategically and execute effectively.
  11. Ability to engage with and influence executive leadership.
  12. Ability to adapt to different project management styles and methodologies, both Agile and Waterfall.
