Responsibilities

• Lead the project planning team on a £70M BTR residential scheme.
• Provide strategic direction on procurement and manage the programme.
• Liaise with a partner consultancy on other aspects of the scheme.

Education

Degree qualification in construction, cost management, engineering, or quantity surveying

MAPM / MRICS or equivalent qualification or experience

Supporting project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified Project Manager, MSP, or Risk Management

Leadership development training

7+ years of experience, with at least 5 years post-qualification

Extensive experience with JCT Design & Build contracts

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior-level project manager or a proven intermediate project manager to take the lead on a significant project for our client, an international London-based global consultancy with a healthy pipeline of projects and variety.

Currently in the planning stage, you will lead a £70M BTR residential scheme, influencing the planning and design process. The strategic project management role includes leading the project planning team, providing strategic direction on procurement, and ensuring the programme stays on track. You will liaise with a partner consultancy on other aspects of the scheme. Additionally, there are further project management and assistant project management duties on a £120M residential build project.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Degree qualification in a relevant field: construction, cost management, engineering, or quantity surveying.
• MAPM / MRICS or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Supporting project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified Project Manager, MSP, or Risk Management.
• Leadership development training.
• 7+ years of experience, with at least 5 years post-qualification.
• Extensive experience with industry-standard forms of contract, typically JCT Design & Build.

Offered is a package in the region of £75-80,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus comprehensive benefits. Our client operates a flexible hybrid working environment, with expectations of three days in the office or on-site.
