Job Title: Senior Project Manager / Project Lead Hotel Refurbishment
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 + Full Package & Bonus
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Manager / Project Lead to manage the refurbishment of a prestigious hotel project in Hertfordshire for a well-known main contractor. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a high-profile renovation and deliver an exceptional result within an exciting and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the refurbishment project from inception to completion, ensuring it meets all quality, cost, and time objectives.
- Coordinate all contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and adherence to project plans.
- Oversee the project schedule, proactively addressing any potential risks or delays.
- Manage the budget and ensure financial control, working with senior stakeholders to approve budgets, forecasts, and change requests.
- Ensure all Health & Safety and legal compliance requirements are met.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the client, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
- Report regularly on project progress, addressing any issues that arise and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Lead, specifically within hotel or hospitality refurbishments.
- Must have a solid background with a well-known main contractor (e.g., large-scale construction or refurbishment projects).
- Strong track record of successful project delivery with stability in your career history.
- Experience managing multi-million-pound projects, with a clear understanding of commercial and financial management.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and engage with senior stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and project management methodologies.
- Relevant degree or qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
In return, our client is offering a basic salary between £100k - £120k (depending on experience) + full package & bonus.
