About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Manager / Project Lead to manage the refurbishment of a prestigious hotel project in Hertfordshire for a well-known main contractor. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a high-profile renovation and deliver an exceptional result within an exciting and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the refurbishment project from inception to completion, ensuring it meets all quality, cost, and time objectives.
  2. Coordinate all contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and adherence to project plans.
  3. Oversee the project schedule, proactively addressing any potential risks or delays.
  4. Manage the budget and ensure financial control, working with senior stakeholders to approve budgets, forecasts, and change requests.
  5. Ensure all Health & Safety and legal compliance requirements are met.
  6. Maintain clear and consistent communication with the client, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  7. Report regularly on project progress, addressing any issues that arise and implementing effective solutions.
  8. Ensure high-quality workmanship and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Lead, specifically within hotel or hospitality refurbishments.
  2. Must have a solid background with a well-known main contractor (e.g., large-scale construction or refurbishment projects).
  3. Strong track record of successful project delivery with stability in your career history.
  4. Experience managing multi-million-pound projects, with a clear understanding of commercial and financial management.
  5. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and engage with senior stakeholders.
  6. Thorough understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and project management methodologies.
  7. Relevant degree or qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

In return, our client is offering a basic salary between £100k - £120k (depending on experience) + full package & bonus.
