Senior Project Manager - Post-Merger Integration (PMI) - Interim (6 months)
Location: Hybrid - London - 2-3 days per week
Industry: Private Equity-backed financial services
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support post-merger integration (PMI) activities for a high-growth, private equity-backed business. This interim role (initially 6 months) will focus on establishing foundational processes, coordinating existing PMI initiatives, and driving operational efficiencies during a period of rapid expansion.
This position presents an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with a high-performing culture. Long-term, the business aims to establish a permanent PMI capability to lead ongoing integration efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate PMI project management activities across various business functions, ensuring seamless integration of acquired businesses.
Establish and improve foundational project management processes, laying the groundwork for long-term success.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and commercial teams, to drive integration efforts without needing to be a subject matter expert in the commercial aspects.
Work closely with senior leadership, including the Finance Director and internal change management teams, to execute strategic integration plans.
Ideal Candidate:
Extensive experience in post-merger integration (PMI) and M&A project management, with an understanding of the integration of acquired businesses.
Proven ability to manage complex business integrations in a high-growth, PE-backed environment.
Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset - able to operate with a high degree of trust and autonomy.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate integration efforts across multiple teams while driving efficiency and operational effectiveness.
