Contract Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 4–6 months (until Jan 2026)
Working Pattern: Full-time, Mon–Fri
Pay Rate: £358.84 Umbrella / £271.35 PAYE

Summary:
Notting Hill Genesis is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale planned maintenance programme, overseeing external works to both leasehold and social rent properties. The programme includes window replacements, roofing, cyclical decorations and associated external works. You’ll line manage a small technical team and be responsible for delivery, quality, and compliance on a £10m annual contract.

Key Responsibilities: Project & Contract Management


  • Lead a major £10m p.a. planned maintenance programme across mixed-tenure stock



  • Manage contract delivery across roofing, windows, decorations and external works



  • Ensure contractor performance, safety, budget compliance and programme targets



  • Monitor KPI performance and ensure legal and leaseholder consultation compliance



Team Leadership


  • Line manage a Senior Building Surveyor, Building Surveyor and Clerk of Works



  • Provide technical leadership and ensure consistent project oversight



  • Support performance reviews, staff development and resource planning



Stakeholder Engagement


  • Liaise with contractors, internal teams, leaseholders and social tenants



  • Ensure smooth communications around access, timelines and disruption mitigation



  • Represent NHG on site, in meetings and with external consultants



Service Improvement & Reporting


  • Oversee handover documentation and project close-out procedures



  • Maintain reporting for cost, progress, H&S and quality assurance



  • Support mobilisation and demobilisation of contracts where required



Person Specification: Essential:


  • Experience managing large-scale building programmes (£5m+) in housing



  • Strong knowledge of planned works and contractor management



  • Experience overseeing mixed-tenure (leasehold & rented) property contracts



  • Confident in managing and motivating technical staff



  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills



  • Immediately available or with max 2-week notice



Desirable:


  • Professional qualification in construction, surveying or project management



  • Experience working in or alongside social housing landlords



  • Interest in a long-term or permanent career move with NHG
